German Language opportunities expand for  for youth in western province

A new  partnership between the EUL German Examination Center in Rwanda  represented by Der  Sprachen Hub-German Language  Academy, and the training Center of language (TCL) in Rugerero Sector, Rubavu District is creating new opportunities for young people in Western Rwanda  to learn German and obtain internationally recognised language certification.

The collaboration aims to expand access to high quality German Language training and the internationally recognized ECL certification, helping students in districts vsuch as Rubavu, Nyabihu,Karongi and surrounding areas improve their academic and professional prospects.

Supporting students to access international certificate

Under the partnership , current students alumi ,and former participants of the German program at TCL Rugerero will receive support in preparing for the ECL German Language examination. The support includes guidance on exam registration, training on exam structure, coaching on time management, and special early registration discount for the upcoming exam sessions.

According to Dr. Phocas Niwemushumba, in charge of academic affairs at Der Sprachen Hub and assistant Director of the ECL German examination center in Rwanda, the partnership is part of a broader effort to expand access to global opportunities through  the language education.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to expanding access to internationally recognized German certification to empower more learners across Rwanda,’’he said.

Improving German Language Education

Beyond exam preparation, the partnership will also promote knowledge and expertise exchange between the two institutions to strengthen the quality of German language education in Rwanda.

By improving both training and certification opportunities , the initiative is expected to help students develop stronger communication skills , increase employ ability ,and enhance opportunities for internationally mobility.

Marie Claire Ndatimana German Teacher and exam coach at Der Sprachen Hub  and the first successful candidate of the C1 ECL German exam in Rwanda, emphasize  the importance of strong preparation.

  ‘’Quality preparation and strong guidance make success possible . Through this partnership  , more students will gain the confidence and skills needed to succed in international German exams,’’she said.

Recent exam successes demonstrate the growing interest in German language certification in Rwanda.

Flower ackdat , the first successful candidate of the B2 ECL German Exam, encouraged students to remain committed to their goals, noting that success becomes achievable with proper guidance and preparation.

Similary, Egide , the first candidate of the B1 ECL German exam , highlighted that dedication and consistent learning  are key to achieving strong result.

Expanding opportunities for Western Rwanda

For Mr William, Director of the Training center of Language of languages (TCL) Rubavu, the partnership marks an important step toward expanding educational opportunities for young people in the region.

He noted that the initiative will help more learners  gain access to professional German Language training and internationally recognized certification, which can open doors to education and career opportunities abroad.

Registration for the next exam session

Students interested in taking the next  ECL German Exam session scheduled  for April are encouraged to register early in order to benefit from the partnership’s special early registration discount.

To access the partner discount , learners are required to register on the ECL exam platform, obtain a participation or enrollment  certificate from TCL Rugerero and submit the certificate to confirm their eligibility.

Through this collaboration , the two institutions aim to build bridges of opportunity through language, education and professional growth ,enabling more young people in Rwanda’s Western Province to connect with global opportunities.
